Cassandra offers In-Person Private or Group music lessons on Piano, Voice, Theory and Ear Training to all ages at Long & McQuade Belleville.

Cassandra Goulbourne is a graduate of Queens University’s Bachelor of Music (honours) program where she specialized in vocal music.
She started her musical journey early in life going through the Royal Conservatory program in piano and voice. She attended a specialized performing arts high school where she majored in voice and drama, and frequently performed at school and in her community.
She is a trained performer, director, music director and conductor who has been involved with many theatre and choral companies across Ontario. Productions she has been involved in have received nominations for Juvenis Festival and Broadway Way World awards.
Cassandra is trained in many styles of vocal music, including opera, musical theatre, jazz and popular music. She maintains an active performance career and is involved in theatre in the community of Bellville as well as across Canada.
She is excited to have joined Long & McQuade, Belleville and is looking forward to fostering the talent in our community.

Jimmy offers In-Person or Online music lessons on Acoustic & Electric Guitar, Bass Guitar, Mandolin, Ukulele, Merlin and Banjo to all ages at Long & McQuade Belleville.

Jimmy Rodgers started playing guitar around the age of 12 years old and has been on his musical journey ever since.
Watching and learning from the multiple musicians in his family he was able to hone his skills. With time and years of practice Jimmy branched out onto numerous other instruments.
Jimmy’s love of performing music has led to playing all over the Hastings and Quinte areas as one half of the duo, The Rodgers Boys. He is also known for his Lead Guitar work in the Rock Band "Beyond the Call".
His teaching style is individualized to each student and not genre specific.
From complex musical theory to just basic chords, meeting people at their level is his main focus in teaching.

With 20+ years of teaching and 30+ years of performance, songwriting, and recording experience, Joëlle holds a Bachelor of Music in Jazz Performance (voice) from the University of Toronto and continues studying vocal anatomy and pedagogy with Dr. Shannon Coates. Mark Chartier offers In-Person Private music lessons on Guitar, Bass Guitar, and Ukulele to all ages at Long & McQuade Belleville.

Mark has been playing since 12 years of age, and for 45+ years Mark has traveled, played, performed, and honed his skills across North & South America.
Mark has teaching experience with acoustic, electric, and bass guitars, has taught students of all age levels, and specializes in tailoring lessons based on each individual. Reading standard notation and tablature can also be taught if desired.
Mark continues studying, practicing, writing, and recording music in his home studio. He has a strong passion for sharing his musical abilities to enable others to explore the beauty of music that awaits them. Lessons can also be taught in French or Spanish.

Mike offers In-person and online, private and group guitar, bass, ukulele, and mandolin lessons to all ages at Long & McQuade Belleville.

Mike is an accomplished and enthusiastic musician and teacher. He started playing guitar and mandolin at the age of 8, picking up bass and ukulele only a few years later. Playing professionally with alt-rock band Long Range Hustle since 2015, he has released two studio albums & two EPs, supported acts like Arkells and Glorious Sons, and performed coast-to-coast on numerous Canadian and US tours.

Mike is enthusiastic about teaching and passing on the love of playing and writing music to all ages, skill levels, and tastes in genre. Mike combines five years of teaching experience with over a decade of professional performance and songwriting work to create a flexible and encouraging learning environment for his students. Lessons are catered to each student’s abilities and goals, with a particular focus on ear training, reading and writing tablature, and developing confidence in performance. His lessons can also incorporate instruction on songwriting for students interested in writing their own music. Mike believes that the key to success is fostering a genuine love for music in a fun and engaging environment.

Spencer offers In-Person Private music lessons on Piano, RCM, Theory, and Ear Training to students aged 7+ of all experience levels at Long & McQuade Belleville

Spencer has been playing music since the age of 11, studying through the Royal Conservatory method.
Early in his studies, he became a church pianist up until attending Western University to further pursue his musical education.
After attaining a Bachelor of Arts in Music and Philosophy, he joined the Deagu theatre group as a piano accompanist and musical director while overseas.
Returning to Canada, he continued teaching privately and playing with local bands as well as working with various theatre groups.
Lessons are based on students’ goals in music and what is needed to reach those goals, including technique, theory, RCM certification prep, or ear training.
Students Aged 7+ of all experience levels are welcome.
